Pomodoro tAImer ("the App") is an adaptive Pomodoro timer that learns your focus patterns. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the data we handle.

Data We Collect

Session data — Timer durations, focus scores, and session history used to adapt the algorithm to your patterns.
Settings & preferences — Your chosen working mode, wake time, and personalization options.
Session cookie — A randomly generated identifier stored in your browser to keep your timer state separate from other users. This cookie contains no personal information.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any other personally identifiable information.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on the server in a SQLite database. Your data is not synced to cloud services, sold, or shared with third parties (except as described below regarding advertising).

Cookies & Session Management

The App uses a single session cookie to identify your browser and maintain your independent timer state. This cookie is:

HTTP-only (not accessible to JavaScript)
Set with SameSite=Lax for security
Contains only a random session identifier

Third-Party Services: Google AdSense

The App uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Specifically:

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your browsing history.

Your Rights

You can:

Clear your data — Use the "Clear History" button in the App to delete your session history.
Delete your cookie — Clear your browser cookies to remove the session identifier. A new one will be created on your next visit.
Opt out of ad personalization — Use the links above to manage Google's advertising cookies.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
